Published ProfilesView case

Three published profiles for one of the leading media platforms for Black and Brown men. The standout is a sit-down with Bryan-Michael Cox, Grammy-winning producer behind Usher's Confessions, Mary J. Blige's Be Without You, and one of the longest Billboard Hot 100 streaks in history, surpassing The Beatles. I sourced the interview, pitched it, conducted it myself, and wrote a piece that opened on set two days after D'Angelo's passing, with Cox walking over mid-shoot and changing the music to Brown Sugar. Also published: Jay Will (Tulsa King) and Isaiah Mustafa (Cross).

SF Giants x Junior Giants

30 for 30 Anniversary Feature

Real Chemistry | Senior Copywriter

LongformView case

The Junior Giants program had spent 30 years changing lives in underserved communities across California. The anniversary called for more than a recap. Working through Real Chemistry, where the Giants were a pro bono account, I interviewed players, former players, coaches, and executives to build a portrait of what the program actually means to the people it shaped. The story was never in the statistics.
