United Airlines brought me on for a 6-month contract to write social content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Coming in on an established global brand with a well-defined tone of voice meant hitting the ground running with no runway. The ongoing challenge was producing content at pace while staying within the bounds of both United's brand and legal guidelines and those of their brand partners, including the Chicago Sky, Bears, Chiefs, and illy coffee. Beyond copy, I was in strategy sessions shaping content around live cultural moments including the 2024 Olympics. When it was time to shoot in the field, I was on-set in Chicago: writing, directing, and appearing on camera in real time.
