United Airlines brought me on for a 6-month contract to write social content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Coming in on an established global brand with a well-defined tone of voice meant hitting the ground running with no runway. The ongoing challenge was producing content at pace while staying within the bounds of both United's brand and legal guidelines and those of their brand partners, including the Chicago Sky, Bears, Chiefs, and illy coffee. Beyond copy, I was in strategy sessions shaping content around live cultural moments including the 2024 Olympics. When it was time to shoot in the field, I was on-set in Chicago: writing, directing, and appearing on camera in real time.

Activation / CultureView case

A Brooklyn-based creative agency brought me in at ACD level to write, concept, and direct copy across a series of adidas activations. A Community Lab welcome dinner during the NCAA Women's Final Four in Tampa. A fitness activation with Tone House in New York. Retail collabs with Puffer Reds and Sole Play. Operating at the intersection of copy and creative direction throughout.

Gierd was an early-stage B2B ecommerce intelligence platform that had started the branding process but needed someone to carry it through. I stepped in mid-engagement, led the remaining stakeholder workshops, developed the mission, vision, and values, and wrote the full site. Building a brand voice for a company still finding its identity is less about writing and more about asking the right questions until something true surfaces. Gierd raised $8M in March 2025.

BrandView case

Fitnesse Radio had a product. It needed an identity. I led the full brand development from naming through copy: brand strategy, guidelines, and written content. Curated playlists for workouts, functions, and pregames occupy a specific cultural space. The brand had to live there credibly. Everything I built was designed to feel like it belonged to people who take the soundtrack of their life seriously.
